April 30 marks a few firsts. This is our first SASS affiliated match, our first match of the 2011 season and the first every Island Long Riders Cowboy Challenge! We combined mounted shooting with some obstacles to make an interesting course. Almost all riders opted to participate in this side-match and everyone had a great time.

Here are Taz and I running stage 5 at Old Bethpage on August 28, 2010. We were having a rough day and I decided to take this one "nice and easy." Not the fastest or smoothest run we have ever done, but we were aiming for "safe" and "in control" at the moment!
